We are very honoured to be the first women’s network in the UK to become B Corp certified.

This certification is not just a testament to our commitment to positive social and environmental impact, but also marks a significant milestone as we become part of a global community of 7,000 businesses which have certified as B Corps, using business as a force for good.

Certification is just the start of our journey and we are on a mission to find more ways to drive meaningful impact for women in work.

Of the 1,500 B Corps in the UK, only 24% are owned by women, and underrepresented founders make up 8% of B Corp leadership, so there is plenty of work to be done.

We are excited to be part of the solution and hope that you will join our movement to encourage even more women into business to push boundaries, challenge the status quo and build enterprises that drive impact.

What does B Corp certification MEAN?

As a B Corp we’re counted among businesses that are leading a global movement for an inclusive, equitable, and regenerative economy.

HOW do you get B Corp certified?

B Corp Certification means that a company has been verified as meeting B Lab’s high standards for social and environmental impact, that it has made a legal commitment to stakeholder governance, and that it is demonstrating accountability and transparency by disclosing this record of performance in a public B Corp profile. You can view ours HERE.

The B Corp certification addresses the entirety of a business’ operations and covers five key impact areas of Governance, Workers, Community, Environment and Customers.

The certification process is rigorous, with applicants required to reach a benchmark score of over 80 while providing evidence of socially and environmentally responsible practices relating to energy supplies, waste and water use, worker compensation, diversity and corporate transparency.

To complete the certification, the company must legally embed their commitment to purpose beyond profit in their company articles.
