I had been interested in the unique power of the mind for many years, studying the psychology of the mind within a marketing context and then when I became sick with a spinal leak, the power of the mind to heal. However, after I sold my second start-up company in property, I decided to qualify and follow my actual passion in a very unique and pioneering type of therapy.
What sets your business apart?
Unlike a lot of therapies, the results are permanent, and in a world where we want everything now, they are fast. I am able to deliver quick and permanent results to help you master a relationship with yourself and achieve a life of freedom, fulfilment, purpose and better health.
I am a fully certified Licensed Rapid Transformational Therapy (RTT®) Practitioner and Certified Hypnotherapist. RTT ® is a pioneering, multi-award-winning therapy, critically-acclaimed as the new go-to therapy harnessing expertise in psychotherapy, hypnotherapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Neurolinguistic Programming (NLP). It provides you with a comprehensive solution-based approach that achieves effective results much quicker than traditional therapies, identifying the root cause of your issue fast – usually in just one or two sessions.
I successfully treat a wide range of issues across a diverse and international client base and due to my background, I am lucky to work with a high profile client base including Musicians, Producers, TV Personalities, Grammy Award-winning writers, Artists, CEOs, Fashion Designers, and Actors. Every client regardless of their background is equally important but this has given me great insight into a successful mind.
What is the concept behind your business or the problem you’re solving?
We all have negative behaviours and habits we would like to upgrade or say goodbye to completely; from Anxiety, Depression, Confidence, Self Esteem, Stress, Anger Issues, OCD, Insomnia, Success Blocks, Eating Disorders, Addictions, Phobias…the list goes on!
Using the power of the subconscious mind, I use a pioneering combination of therapies (including NLP, CBT and Hypnotherapy) to rapidly get to the root of the issue, remove and install a new way of thinking causing rapid, permanent life-changing results from as little as ONE session (can take up to three)!
Where to next/What is your brand vision?
Alongside my private client base, I would like to transfer my skills to work within corporate institutions too. I have developed a day programme that works with both a group of employees and also individuals on a one-to-one basis to upgrade skills. The group work would use hypnosis to focus on stress, focus, motivation, concentration, teamwork etc. Then the individual work would enable me to upgrade certain elements and solve issues in confidence, procrastination, fear of public speaking, presentation skills, depression, imposter syndrome, success blocks and of course stress.
Stress is costly! Deloitte’s 2020 report finds that poor mental health costs UK employers up to £45 billion each year. However, for every £1 spent on supporting their people’s mental health, employers get £5 back on their investment in reduced presenteeism, absenteeism and staff turnover.

What do you feel passionate about/what drives you?
I feel passionate about helping people, it’s something I’ve always done naturally and now I’ve made a career of it. In particular, I am able to combine my knowledge of the pressures of being a female entrepreneur with the pioneering therapy I practice. I locate and remove limiting beliefs and success blocks from my clients to propel them to the next level, whether it be in the boardroom or other areas of their life.
Share an example of early life that has shaped you?
I was very badly bullied from the ages of 7 – 10 and although it was incredibly traumatic, it shaped my level of empathy and drive to succeed, two things that have shaped me to be the person I am today.
Highlights of your business journey so far?
There are so many highlights, but I think being part of and founding three very different, but all successful companies would be up there. All of which had fully female leadership teams. My first was Shine Creative Solutions, which is a Marketing and Partnerships agency within the live entertainment industry. The second is a Luxury property firm called Stay & Escape and finally now the one I’m notably most passionate about in Health and Wellness sphere Anna Lancaster Therapy. Being named a ‘Savvy Entrepreneur’ in the Evening Standard was pretty high up there too.
Key lessons you have learned along the way?
A key lesson I’ve learnt is to always be clear on your vision from the start and ensure that everyone is on the same page, otherwise further down the line it can cause bigger issues. Also, to take the time to employ the right staff who share your vision, they will be the ones who communicate it and represent your company.
Best piece of advice you have received?
Don’t be afraid to make mistakes, they are lessons.
Advice to an aspiring entrepreneur or woman just starting her career?
To always treat everyone with the same level of respect regardless if they are CEO or the cleaner of a company. Also, always trust your gut, it is the seat of all emotions and it knows more than you think.
What funding route have you chosen for your business and why?
Always a self-funded business model, not to say investment isn’t right, but for me I always wanted to be in control of the vision.
Some of the challenges you have faced and how you overcame them?
Challenges have always stemmed from selling in the concept of a new startup. I”m not a natural saleswoman, but I am passionate about what I do. So I channel that passion into speaking about what I do instead of ‘selling’ and people seem to relate to that more.
Why is it important to support women-led business?
I think for me it’s the empowering effect and general impact it has on gender equality.
