How did it all begin?
Clear HR began when I returned to work after maternity leave and didn’t feel supported at all. I realised that even in businesses with the best intentions, people processes often fall short when it matters most and that stuck with me. I remain annoyingly passionate about supporting women in the workplace. I thought becoming self-employed would be an easy route to more flexibility and balance. I couldn’t have been more wrong. I built Clear HR to help growing businesses do better by their people. To support leaders who care but don’t always know the ‘how’. And to make sure no one else feels the way I did unsupported, unseen, and stuck at such a pivotal point in their life and career.
What sets your business apart?
I don’t do generic. I take time to really understand each client’s business, culture and goals. I balance legal compliance with commercial thinking and I always tell it straight. I’m also values-led, I care just as much about how things are done as what gets done.
What is the concept behind your business or the problem you’re solving?
Growing businesses often hit a point where DIY HR no longer cuts it. They’re juggling performance issues, hiring needs, culture shifts, and legal risks all without a clear framework. I solve that problem by helping them put the right foundations in place. Whether it’s a restructure, a difficult conversation, or creating a scalable people strategy, I give founders and leaders the tools to handle it well.
What is your brand vision?
To make HR feel clear, confident and human. I want to help purpose-driven businesses grow without compromising their values and to show that doing the right thing for your people is also the smartest thing for your business.
