Empowering women to leap into their greatness and live a fulfilled and authentic life through one-to-one or group coaching.

How did it all begin?

As a Chinese immigrant that moved to the UK at the age of 9, I grew up being bullied and labelled as “different”. In order to survive the social world, I worked hard on losing myself and adapting my identity to those around me. In 2018, I was triggered by a manipulative manager into depression, which ended up saving my life. With the support of amazing friends and family, I overcame it as I began my journey of personal growth and development. Having done a lot of self discovery, I was able to celebrate myself for being different – being unique is my strength and not a weakness. Now I want to empower all women through self awareness tools, so they too, can celebrate their authentic selves, and truly live their life purpose and build a legacy they will not regret.

What sets your business apart?

My Authenticity – One of my top personal values, I am always willing to share openly and vulnerably, which helps many of my clients relate to me and enables them to understand that when they are willing to put in the work, they too can succeed and live a fulfilled life.

My Community – One of the key reasons that I am successful in life is because I have a powerful, supportive, and nurturing community around me. Clients of mine are automatically enrolled into a community of like-minded people that have been coached by me, so they know that their new community will be able to speak their language and understand each other well. I run a no judgment policy in my community so everyone is able to share freely.

My Philanthropic work – To empower other women within my community to support others and experience the power of giving, I set up a charity foundation that empowers small/medium sized charities focused on supporting vulnerable women and children. The foundation provides opportunities for professional women to give back by providing pro-bono work. This enables charities to bring more to their beneficiaries and provides vulnerable women and children the opportunity they deserve to thrive.

What is the concept behind your business or the problem you’re solving?

There are many women who are feeling frustrated, stuck, or at a loss, knowing that they can do more, be more, have more, but don’t know how. I help them truly understand their patterns, language, self-limiting beliefs and reasons for procrastination, in order to get out of their own way so they can thrive! My clients see a huge improvement in the flow of their lives within a few weeks of working with me.

I do this through my signature L.E.A.P.S. programme where I guide my clients through their journey of self-discovery – helping them learn more about themselves, enlighten them with their new found identity, putting action in place, so they can progress and in turn succeed and lead a fulfilling life.

Where to next/What is your brand vision?

To run global retreats for women to learn more about themselves, peel back the next layer of the onion, and thrive. Along with that will come with a community of like-minded women who will support each other. Also, to create a space in London where women can have fun and work on their next improvement project. This will be done through collaboration with other female coaches, so we can provide a holistic approach.

My charity foundation is also integral to my business where it has created a powerful community of supportive women who are passionate about giving back and empowering others. My plan is to expand the foundation globally, so charities around the world can receive the support that they need, and help women and children thrive.

What do you feel passionate about/what drives you?

I am passionate about supporting women to thrive, to shine their light and live the brightest life being their best self.

Share an example of early life that has shaped you?

My mum has always been a huge inspiration to me. When we migrated, she gave up her high paid job as head of English in a school to become a housewife to look after me and my 2 brothers, even though she’d never cooked or cleaned before. Her determination, resilience, and unconditional love for us has inspired me to be who I am today. She was the one who showed me that no matter my circumstances, I can always overcome my challenges and thrive.

Highlights of your business journey so far?

My clients! It sounds cliche but the highlights of my business is the smile on my clients’ faces as we finish each session, having had “lightbulb moments” throughout the session. The success they have through their journey are my best moments as I watch them break down the walls of their frustrations and blockers. 121 clients + foundation support including events

Key lessons you have learned along the way?

Trust yourself – no matter what happens, trust in myself is always the most important. There have been many times when I’ve thought “I have no idea how I’m going to achieve this” but each time I believe in myself, I always succeed. Be patient – building a business takes time so be patient with it. Things may not go the way you want it to immediately, but what you want will come as long as you are consistent with taking action. Invest in yourself – many people think that because money is tight at the beginning it’s not worth investing in a coach or getting help in areas they’re not good at. That is actually counter-intuitive. Investing in someone who has gone through the same journey and thrive, or someone who is an expert in a field (e.g. marketing) is saving you more money and time in the long run because you can use your headspace to think about how to generate more income and gain more clients, which only you can do.

Best piece of advice you have received?

Being authentic means being authentic and true to myself – it’s not just about not lying to others. Once I understood this, my life has changed

Advice to an aspiring entrepreneur or woman just starting her career?

Take action and start! No matter where you are on your journey, you will be gaining from it because it becomes your experience. You never start from zero again – you’ll always be starting from experience! And also, keep going! Don’t let challenges stop you – they’re only there to help you grow.

What funding route have you chosen for your business and why?

Self-funded.

Some of the challenges you have faced and how you overcame them?

Fear of not being worthy was one of the biggest challenges I faced at the beginning of my journey as a founder/entrepreneur. Coming from a family background of failed entrepreneurs and corporate employees, I feared that I was going to end up the same. I also placed a huge burden on myself to not fail, for fear of disappointing my parents. Luckily I met someone who had just been on that journey and was willing to give me some advice. 3 hours later, I came out full of enthusiasm and 5 days later I officially started my business! Not knowing how to market myself or to create content was also a huge challenge at the beginning. It can be very confusing for beginners, especially when so many claim to be “experts” in the field. I tried so many different ways and paid for courses and coaches…until I realised that there actually is no “right” way of doing it, there is just my way. As long as I am authentic, doing what I love, and adding value to others, then people will buy into me and what I stand for.

Why is it important to support women-led business?

Women by nature are nurturing, so I truly believe that when we support a women-led business, the women within it will help others around them to thrive, creating a domino effect of well supported individuals, who are always willing to share.
