Saving you time and stress; so, you ooze confidence and style inside out.
How did it all begin?
I started my business in 2008, I was previously an accountant in the city which I found monotonous, and it didn’t flame my fire. I wasn’t passionate about it at all!
After 13 years as an accountant. I remember just being extremely frustrated working long hours and just feeling like, ‘this can’t be all there is to life. I had what I call my epiphany or come to myself movement. So, I had a brainstorming session with some friends, about my business idea: which was a personal styling image consultancy.
So I put my ‘big girl pants’ on, and embarked on a personal styling course at the London College of Fashion in 2007. I completed the personal styling course with flying colours.
I then took a massive leap of faith, wrote my letter of resignation in fear and trepidation. I handed it in, but my workplace didn’t want me to leave, so I stayed for a few months: I was well renumerated… In 2008 I quit my job, sold my house and started Potential U.
What sets your business apart?
I care about women. Personal styling is an amazing tool I use to empower women.
I am an experienced Personal stylist, with nearly 15 years working with women.
I trained as a Personal Stylist in 2007 at the London College of Fashion and trained again in 2019 in Fashion buying – from one of the most renowned fashion colleges in the world (LCF) London College of Fashion.
I’ve styled over 4000 women to date and counting. I have thousands of amazing testimonials from happy clients. I listen to my clients. I want you to look great and to feel amazing; as yourself. I love what I do. I am good at it. I want to empower more women through personal styling.
What is the concept behind your business or the problem you’re solving?
I offer Personal styling solutions to women, so they feel confident in their skin. Women feel great and look amazing in their clothes.
My clients say their styling experience is cathartic. It’s empowering. It saves them time and stress.
They feel great! They are confident; they feel ready.
It gives them to order their wardrobe.
It helps them to feel prepared for work, for weekends for special occasions for their holidays.
It saves the stress of sorting out their wardrobe and what to wear, so it’s a time saver. Ultimately it makes my clients feel wonderful!
There’s nothing better than helping my clients feel great in their skin; through personal styling, I love it.
Where to next/What is your brand vision?
My vision for my business is to continue to style more women and to empower women through personal styling.
I work with clients across the world. In Europe, in the Middle East, in Africa, and in America.
I hope that my personal styling business impacts more women’s lives across the globe.
Teaching in a fashion college would be great.
Being on television, having my own Personal styling show on a major TV channel would be great!
Empowering more women’s lives through Personal styling is my ultimate goal.

What do you feel passionate about/what drives you?
Life. Women. Style.
Share an example of early life that has shaped you?
My mum ran a successful business. I believe I get my work ethic from her.
My passion for fashion was ignited when I was a child. My mum was always well dressed. She exuded confidence and still does till today. She takes care of herself. I saw the synergy between styling/taking care of yourself as a woman and how it boosts your confidence.
My hope is that’s how my clients feel when I style them.
