Having built one of the world leading luxury hotel amenities global licensing and supply company and having manufactured for brands such as Penhaligons’ Elemis, Aveda, The White Company making millions of miniatures for hospitality I wanted my own brand but giving more value, 100% natural and more mindful than just more skin care or fragrance. My products had to do something meaningful, my brand had to stand for a purposeful change.
During my last year with Pacific Direct the first company I built, I spent 221 days travelling. Always juggling three small children whilst running a big company I needed to sleep well, recover fast and focus often. I had started to use aromatherapy and essential oils, but the ones on the market back then were not travel friendly, leaky, messy and often ineffective certainly not pre-blended.
