I coach creative professionals who are working at the very best design studios, brands and fashion houses globally, who’s voice inside their head is telling them “I’m not good enough”.

How did it all begin?

In 2018, crippled with Imposter Syndrome, I finally burnt out, having spent an amazing 26 years as a designer in the fashion industry. What followed was the best year I could ever gift myself, I decided to resign from a very well paid job and tile, work on my mindset, re-train as a professional coach and set up my coaching business. I now coach creative professionals who need to understand their inner critic, or help to pivot their career.

What sets your business apart?

I understand first hand how creatives can be held hostage by their inner critic, I haven’t just read it in a text book, I have personally experienced it myself. Creative minds are very unique and individual, 1+1 doesn’t always equal 2 in the creative industry. I empathise with creative directors who feel too ashamed to admit they have Imposter Syndrome, that crippling feeling of ‘when will I be found out’.

There is no judgement in my session’s, the ego is left at the door, it’s a safe space to be vulnerable, to trust me and trust yourself.

What is the concept behind your business or the problem you’re solving?

It’s become very clear to me that Imposter Syndrome is crippling both our leaders and the new generation of creatives coming through the industry.

If a creative mind is constantly being overruled by a continuous loud inner critic, you’re restricting the flow of amazing creative ideas to come alive, it’s exhausting.

I work with my client to get to grips with their inner critic, understand the negative impact it’s having on them, then develop the skills to take control of it.

Where to next/What is your brand vision?

My ultimate mission has always been to ‘lift the lid’ of the stigma Imposter Syndrome has within the creative industry. I want to continue to work with educational institutions so that this topic is addressed at early stages of a creative career, to work with more design agencies so they can cultivate environments where their teams can feel safe to talk about Imposter Syndrome and receive help for it.
