After working in marketing, recruitment and PA roles, I realised I was naturally far more suited to creative and people-focused work. Whilst pregnant with my first son, I retrained as an image consultant at the age of 30 and have never looked back.
Looking back now, style and identity had always been part of my life. As a child I was fascinated by the transformative power of clothing and imagination, and as a teenager and university student I was constantly helping friends shop and dress.
What sets your business apart?
My work combines technical styling knowledge with psychology, identity and behavioural insight.
I approach style as a form of communication and self-recognition rather than trend-following. I also believe colour analysis and personal style should be highly bespoke experiences rather than rigid systems.
What is the concept behind your business or the problem you’re solving?
Many women feel overwhelmed, disconnected from themselves, or stuck in wardrobes that no longer reflect who they are.
The Distinctive Style Atelier helps reduce that friction by helping clients understand what works for their colouring, body shape, lifestyle and personality — allowing them to dress with more ease, clarity and confidence.
What is your brand vision?
To build a modern, thoughtful approach to personal styling that feels intelligent, emotionally aware and deeply personal.
I want The Distinctive Style Atelier to become known not just for style expertise, but for helping women feel more coherent, confident and recognisable to themselves again.
