How did it all begin?
We met at a networking event; we had an open honest conversation about the cost of imposter syndrome and self-doubt on creativity and innovation which led us to researching and launching a ground breaking white paper ‘Creativity in Crisis: The Hidden Cost of Imposter Syndrome & The Inner Critic’.
Following the success of this report and it’s key findings, we set out to make those changes, Trust Your Creative was born.
What sets your business apart?
The rare blend of certified expertise, leadership development experience, and deep roots in the creative industries. We bring a nuanced understanding of the unique pressures creatives face and tailor their approach to meet them where they are.
What is the concept behind your business or the problem you’re solving?
Our approach to imposter syndrome is rooted in in-depth research across the UK and US, blending personal narratives from our own qualitative studies with hard data from quantitative research. This dual lens ensures our workshops, coaching, and keynotes are tailored, relevant, and grounded in real-world experience, not generic theory.
What truly distinguishes us is the first hand experience in creative fields, from design and writing to entrepreneurship, meaning we speak the language of creativity. We know the barriers that hold creatives back and, more importantly, how to dismantle them with empathy, insight, and precision.
What is your brand vision?
My ultimate mission has always been to ‘lift the lid’ of the stigma Imposter Syndrome has within the creative industry. I want to continue to work with educational institutions so that this topic is addressed at early stages of a creative career, to work with more design agencies so they can cultivate environments where their teams can feel safe to talk about Imposter Syndrome and receive help for it.
