Business coaching and consulting for women who are ready to bring the full-fat version of their dream business to life.

How did it all begin?

When I lost my husband to cancer at 42, it was a huge slap round the face by mortality. Life’s too short to do anything other than what matters to you. I quit my corporate job almost immediately and, after a few wrong turns and lessons learned, ended up where I am today with a flourishing coaching, consulting, writing & speaking business. The best part? We’re helping women like me to do the same!

What sets your business apart?

Our style is unapologetically immersive – call me a people pleaser if you like – I’m ok with pleasing, no, delighting our clients with the way we work together. From us, you get 100% raw honesty and actual needle-moving advice. Unapologetic Business Ltd is a BS-Free zone.

What is the concept behind your business or the problem you’re solving?

We help women figure out what they want from the work they do, who they need to be to make that happen, and how to grow their businesses in alignment, in a way that feels good to them.

Where to next/What is your brand vision?

My vision is for Unapologetic Business to continue raising ambitious women into their best lives. Personally, I’m unapologetically seeking more ways to do this work that matters to me, while making it more accessible for women around the world.

What do you feel passionate about/what drives you?

Women being who they truly are and defining success on their own terms

Share an example of early life that has shaped you?

My father was a small business owner, and I saw from an early age the pros and cons of entrepreneurship – the long hours worked paired with the financial freedom to build an amazing life.

Highlights of your business journey so far?

The biggest highlights are, without doubt, the successes of our clients. The revenue goals hit, the talks given, the books published and the clients’ clients served.

Key lessons you have learned along the way?

Until you define success for yourself, no amount of grit and determination will help you achieve it. Being who you truly are is the ONLY way to stand out in business.

Best piece of advice you have received?

Know who you are or others will tell you.

Advice to an aspiring entrepreneur or woman just starting her career?

If you operate with absolute honesty, authenticity and full transparency, you’ll decimate stress.

What funding route have you chosen for your business and why?

My business has been completely self-funded from my first solo venture into entrepreneurship.

Some of the challenges you have faced and how you overcame them?

I started the wrong business… twice! Each time I was playing small – telling myself I didn’t want to be a coach, pretending I was happy in the wings, helping coaches with their back-end operations. After a combination of personal coaching, introspection and courage-building, I was ready to go ALL IN on what I really wanted, and I’ve not looked back.

Why is it important to support women-led business?

Because despite some progress we’re still underrepresented, underfunded, under respected and undervalued. Let’s accelerate change.
