This December, we’re closing out the year at the incredible Darjeeling Express in London, home of trailblazing restaurateur and activist Asma Khan.

We’ll enjoy a festive Indian lunch at Darjeeling Express, featuring vibrant, homestyle dishes served daawat-style, platters made for sharing, bursting with flavour, texture, and soul. During the gathering, Asma Khan will share insights from her remarkable journey, her philosophy, and her pioneering work.

Indian-born British chef Asma, has transformed London’s culinary scene with her Michelin-recognised Darjeeling Express, celebrated for its all-female kitchen and homestyle Indian dishes. A passionate activist, she was named one of Time’s 100 most influential people in 2024 and supports the UN World Food Programme.

Asma made history on Netflix’s Chef’s Table, appeared on Celebrity MasterChef and Top Chef, and in 2025 hosts the Food Network series Secrets of the Curry Kitchen while becoming the first patron of the Sodexo Stop Hunger Foundation.
