Texas Hay Hoedown
Come and help us celebrate the hay harvest in style. What better way than a proper Country Hoedown with the Real Texan Cowgirl herself, Jocelyn Penque Saunders, right here in the courtyard at Copsegrove.
Dust off your boots, grab your hat, and join us for a night of live country music and line dancing under the open sky. Whether you’re a seasoned stepper or a complete beginner, all are welcome on the dancefloor. Expect Shuffles, Grapevines, and maybe even a Stomp and Hitch on our brand new (and very flat) courtyard.
Jocelyn grew up in Corsicana, Texas, a town steeped in country music tradition. She moved to the UK in 2010 and has since become one of the most sought-after line dancing instructors around.
Together with her husband Leo, a talented singer and musician with a repertoire spanning Alan Jackson, Brooks and Dunn, and Tim McGraw, the pair host lively, unforgettable Hoedowns. We are thrilled to welcome them to Copsegrove for the very first time.
When you’re not dancing, settle into a hay bale, sip something cold from the Bull Pen Bar, and tuck into delicious Texan food hot off Ian Ballantyne’s grill.
