AMLY

I am the Co-Founder of AMLY - offering holistic, sensory rituals using blends created from pure spring water, wildflowers and bioactive botanical extracts to revive skin and senses. At the core of AMLY's collection is the natural spring water sourced from co-founder Lisa's organic Sussex farm. This pristine ingredient is the cornerstone of our renowned silver-infused facial mists, most notably Radiance Boost, their signature 'Serum-In-A-Mist' which was inspired by the uplifting scent of a summer shower sweeping over the wildflower meadows.

Share an experience or challenge that has shaped you? My grandmother always used herbs and old family remedies to treat her children and grandchildren, she passed down her book on Herbs and their uses that I still refer to now. I originally wanted to be a doctor but life chose otherwise and I eventually ended up studying Homeopathy and Craniosacral Therapy. My love of botanicals and natural medicine has been poured into AMLY and I feel I can thank my grandmother for the early inspiration.
Best piece of advice you have ever been given? Create your own path and don’t get distracted by what others are doing.
What advice would you give to your younger self or a woman just starting her career? Have a clear vision and know where it is you want to go.
What does success mean to you? That depends on whether you mean in business or life!

With AMLY it has always been our intention to create products, using ingredients of the highest quality that enhance both skin and wellbeing, through both the ingredients and the supporting information we offer on how to create personal rituals.

We feel we have achieved that and so much more. AMLY has found its way into the everyday essentials of so many people, including some we still pinch ourselves about!
Ultimately we would love to expand our worldwide growth to reach a wider audience.

Success to us really means expansion without compromising on our core principles.

How do you handle challenges and changes? What's in your toolkit? As a small team we have had to be very flexible in every department. Managing big challenges like Covid and Brexit meant having to pivot in real time to adapt to changing circumstances.

We have always been willing to give new ideas a try, some work some don’t, but it has allowed us to really go with the flow. I think the key things in our toolkit are solid friendship, flexibility and a good sense of humour.

Why is it important to support women in business and women-led business? From the very beginning we have chosen to work and collaborate with women and women lead businesses. We know how hard it is to create and sustain a business and really want to support others, wherever and whenever we can.
