Bowes-Lyon Partnership

I am the Membership and Partnership Executive at Bowes-Lyon Partnership, where I have the pleasure of connecting discerning clients with exceptional opportunities and meaningful connections. I am passionate about creating experiences that are thoughtful, tailored, and seamless, ensuring every member feels valued and supported.

Share an experience or challenge that has shaped you? There was a particular moment when I had to make a decision that affected several people. Not everyone agreed with the direction I felt was right, and it would have been simpler to follow the loudest voice. Instead, I chose to stand by my reasoning, respectfully, but firmly. It was uncomfortable at the time, but it proved to be the right decision.

That experience taught me to trust my instincts and to communicate with clarity and kindness. Since then, I’ve approached similar challenges with more assurance, while still remaining open and thoughtful in how I listen to others.

Best piece of advice you have ever been given? Listen more that you speak. This one stayed with me. It’s tempting to fill silence, but the most valuable information often comes when you allow space. Understanding what someone truly wants, rather than what you assume they want, leads to far stronger, more tailored solutions and the trust that follows
What advice would you give to your younger self or a woman just starting her career? There is always a solution. I remember someone saying this to me very early on in my career and I've taken it with me ever since. Even when things feel tricky, taking a step back, staying calm, and looking at the situation from a fresh angle usually reveals a way forward, and often one you hadn’t considered at first.
What does success mean to you? To me, success is feeling fulfilled in all areas of life. It’s achieving professional goals while also making time for the experiences, people, and moments that matter most personally.
How do you handle challenges and changes? What's in your toolkit? I try to approach challenges with calm and perspective, staying adaptable and solution-focused. By thinking creatively, communicating clearly, and leaning on strong relationships, I turn obstacles into opportunities for growth and positive outcomes.
Why is it important to support women in business and women-led business? Seeing women succeed in business and leadership roles encourages others to pursue their ambitions with confidence. By supporting women-led businesses, we help normalise female leadership and broaden what success can look like.
