Fanny Di Domenicantonio

Director

Fox & Cubs Agency

I am Fanny Di Domenicantonio, Director of Fox & Cubs, a leading nanny and domestic staff agency based in London.

Mum of three and settled in London for the last 15 years, I combine my strategic business expertise with my personal parenting journey. I’m passionate about providing families with trusted, tailored support and am known for my focus on quality, trust, and cultural understanding.

Originally from France, I began my career in programme management and mergers & acquisitions before acquiring French Nanny London in 2021 and launching Fox & Cubs to meet the growing demand for English-speaking and multilingual childcare.

Share an experience or challenge that has shaped you? I would have to speak about my son. He is wonderfully spirited and quite challenging at times to say the least! Nothing in comparison to his two younger sisters! Navigating motherhood with him has taught me resilience in ways no professional experience ever could. I have learned to stay calm (or at least try my very best!) under pressure, to pick up my battles wisely, and to find patience I didn’t know I had. It has made me not only a stronger parent, but also a more grounded and empathetic leader in my business.
Best piece of advice you have ever been given? My dad always told me to see life like a chest of drawers. Each drawer represents a part of your life family, work, friends, health and passions. When one drawer is in trouble, you can close it for a moment and open another that brings you joy or calm. It’s a reminder that balance comes from keeping perspective: one challenge doesn’t have to make the whole piece of furniture wobble. That mindset has helped me stay steady and grounded through both motherhood and business.
What advice would you give to your younger self or a woman just starting her career? Find your allies, the people who lift you up, challenge you, and believe in you even when you doubt yourself. Give it 100%, trust your instincts, and don’t hold back. You can absolutely do it! The path may not always be straight, but every step teaches you something that will make you stronger and more confident in the long run.
What does success mean to you? For me, success means freedom, freedom to design my life on my own terms. Financial freedom, of course, but also the freedom to be present with my children during half terms, to work where I want, and to grow my business in a way that reflects my values. Success, to me, isn’t just about achievement; it’s about having the space and flexibility to live fully and intentionally.
How do you handle challenges and changes? What's in your toolkit? I am a problem-solver at heart. When faced with a challenge, I focus on finding solutions rather than getting stuck on what is not working. I will try different approaches, adjust, and keep going until I find a way forward. I never give up persistence and adaptability are my two biggest tools.
Why is it important to support women in business and women-led business? Because when women support each other, incredible things happen. Collaboration is where real growth starts, we build relationships, share experiences, and lift one another up. Supporting women-led businesses isn’t just about empowerment; it’s about creating a stronger, more connected community where success is shared. I am even friends with some of my competitors and I love that!

60 Seconds with Fanny Di Domenicantonio

My inspiration is: My mum, she is the perfect mix of strength and kindness. She is always shown me that you can be determined, and resilient, while still leading with warmth and compassion.
My greatest fear is: Losing someone I love. Family means everything to me, and the thought of not being able to be there for them or losing them is what I fear most. It is also what reminds me to live fully and appreciate the moments we have together.
The most courageous thing I have ever done is: Having three kids! Every day is an adventure, equal parts chaos, love, and laughter.
I am most proud of: The life I have built for myself and my children one that blends freedom, balance, and purpose. I am proud that I have been able to grow a business while creating a life that allows me to be present as a mum and still do what I love every day.
Guiltless pleasure: A glass of wine and a proper French apéro, good company, a few delicious nibbles, and that feeling of slowing down and enjoying the moment.
Mantra I live by: Stay positive and keep moving no matter what comes your way, there is always a solution and a new chapter ahead
Female role model: My mum, of course! She is the kindest person I know, and I admire the relationship we have built over the years. I hope to have the same closeness and trust with my own children as they grow up, just like the one I have with her.
Women-led brand I love: I have to mention Ceylan Boyce and the Academy for Women Entrepreneurs. She is doing incredible work helping women focus on their goals, grow their businesses with clarity, and build a life they truly love. Her energy and dedication are a real inspiration!
