I am driven by a belief that business can be both profitable and purposeful. Through Globechain, I help organisations redistribute unwanted items and reduce waste. Our reuse marketplace connects companies with charities and communities, proving that sustainability and the circular economy are not only possible but powerful.
Share an experience or challenge that has shaped you? I’ve had many challenges in life and feel that every experience shapes you a little bit each time.
Best piece of advice you have ever been given? Invest in your company culture as the people in there make the business.
What advice would you give to your younger self or a woman just starting her career? Know your worth and don't take any BS!
What does success mean to you? Success to me means creating something that delivers real and lasting impact as well as a legacy not just for shareholders, but for people and the planet. It’s about building a business that’s aligned with your values, where profit and purpose coexist.
How do you handle challenges and changes? What's in your toolkit? Resilience, perspective, and a healthy sense of humour. Challenges are part of the entrepreneurial journey, especially when you're pioneering something new. I believe adaptability is key; in a world that’s evolving rapidly, agility is your superpower. My toolkit includes having the data and facts to make informed decisions, surrounding myself with great people who offer diverse viewpoints and genuinely want to see you succeed, and of course, coffee and Pilates to keep both mind and body sane!
Why is it important to support women in business and women-led business? We need to support and help each other to grow as well as bring on board the men who support the women to grow.
