PrimeCoach
I am the CEO of PrimeCoach. After building two psychology consultancies, including LeadChange, I switched my focus to making coaching accessible to all. I believe everyone deserves the tools to become the best version of themselves, and I’m here to help make that happen.
Share an experience or challenge that has shaped you? Being dyslexic, far from being a barrier, I’ve been made by my dyslexia! It taught me to be a problem-solver, so now I see solutions, not barriers, and a world of endless opportunity. Experiencing the world differently has helped me find creative solutions and have the tenacity to make them happen.
Best piece of advice you have ever been given? This too shall pass.
What advice would you give to your younger self or a woman just starting her career? You will make many mistakes, some of which you could have foreseen and some you could never have imagined. Don’t worry, we all do; just learn from them and keep going.
What does success mean to you? Success = flow, being engaged and in balance, loving what I do. For me success isn’t a goal you attain and then you have it so I try not to put pressure on myself to obtain. For me it is a sense, a feeling, sometimes it’s fleeting and others I hold onto it for longer periods. It also isn’t global – I can be experiencing great success at work and simultaneously having a tough time with my family.
How do you handle challenges and changes? What's in your toolkit? Related to my answer about success, practicing non-attachment to outcome, trusting the process, follow the energy and trust that the rest will come. Sometimes the most unexpected outcomes result in the best experience. Good news, bad news, who knows? Without seeing the bigger picture, we don't know whether isolated events are good or bad, so I try not to attach meaning to challenges or changes too soon and focus on the what now.
Why is it important to support women in business and women-led business? Levelling up! Women have to push through so many barriers to lead their businesses, supporting them levels every level and shining a light on the amazing women that are changing the world.
