Founder of Rosamund Boughton, a design and illustration studio specialising in bespoke,
hand-painted wedding stationery and luxury paper goods. I collaborate globally with couples, brands, and high-end wedding planners to create story-driven illustrations, crafted with eco-conscious practices that honour love and the environment without compromising beauty.
Share an experience or challenge that has shaped you? Graduating during COVID left me feeling uncertain, despite achieving a First Class degree in Fine Art. What I did know, however, was that I wanted a career driven by creativity and built on my own terms, and that determination led to the creation of my design studio.
Best piece of advice you have ever been given? A little cliché, but don't be afraid to pursue your dreams.
What advice would you give to your younger self or a woman just starting her career? Mindset is key. I’ve learned that when things happen outside of my control, they often become opportunities for growth and learning.
What does success mean to you? To grow a creative, values-driven studio that delights clients, champions sustainability, and brings me personal fulfilment and joy!
How do you handle challenges and changes? What's in your toolkit? I’m not afraid to ask for help, seeking advice from mentors and staying open to change is a big part of how I navigate challenges.
Why is it important to support women in business and women-led business? Women are more likely to balance profit with social responsibility, sustainability, and community impact.
