Saskia’s Flower Essences is a brand dedicated to harnessing the transformative power of nature for emotional and physical well-being. With a deep-rooted passion for holistic healing, my journey with flowers began in my early years, evolving into a lifelong pursuit of understanding the energetic wisdom of plants.
Share an experience or challenge that has shaped you? My love of flowers started early, growing up in a Cotswold valley I had free access to the woods and hills and streams. I picked flowers, I pressed them, I asked their names, I picked blackberries for jam, I made dens in the woods and dams in the streams. Looking back, this is where I was happiest – everything was so simple and uncomplicated.
Best piece of advice you have ever been given? If you have two choices, toss a coin and before it lands your gut will tell you which way you want it to land.
What advice would you give to your younger self or a woman just starting her career? Go forward one step at a time, trust your instincts ALWAYS, and the path you are meant to be on will open in front of you.
What does success mean to you? Earning enough money so that I am self sufficient and not having to worry if the bills will be paid, having a safe roof over my head and doing something that makes me grow and helps others at the same time.
How do you handle challenges and changes? What's in your toolkit? Luckily I have our Calm and Confident drops to help when things suddenly shift and change more than I feel comfortable with… I have discovered over the years that I’m not so good with sudden changes of plan -especially since menopause so these drops have been a massive help -allowing me to let go and feel protected and grounded at the same time.
Why is it important to support women in business and women-led business? In general, I find businesses run by women are less competitive, more caring, more filled with love – and this is how I want the world to be… so it’s a bit of a no-brainer.

My inspiration is: Flowers.
My greatest fear is: Not being able to go out into nature daily.
The most courageous thing I have ever done is: Take on the business all by myself.
I am most proud of: It really is my brand that I can put my hand on heart and say I'm most proud of. Taking a side hustle of fifteen years from 0 - 6 figure with year on year growth of 30% in 7 years with very little practical and zero financial help... and for it to look and feel like something that I can put my hand up and say 'I did that and I am changing people's lives in real and meaningful ways on a daily basis'.
